Two school records set at Pacific

Gotta love school records, and there's plenty of space on the blog to shed a little limelight on record-breakers even at the smaller schools.

Pacific University in Forest Grove had a couple of marks fall last Saturday with a pair of really good performances.

Kelsey Owens, a junior from Tacoma, broke the school's 1,500 meter record for the third week in a row at the Oregon Preview, finishing sixth in a stacked field in 4:36.96. She dropped 10 seconds from her record and earned a provisional qualifying mark for the NCAA Division III
Championships.
